How To Put On Belkin Screen Protector

  • #26

Is there a big departure betwixt the 20$ version and the 40$ of the Belkin screen protector?

  • #27

Cheers for the heads up - Saw your post in another thread. Just ordered 1 for pickup, fabricated an appointment for tomorrow!

So you bought a self-install kit and had the apple store install it for you? were you lot able to get them to install it for you successfully?

  • #28

Verizon merely had Zagg protectors, and so I got one only didn't have them install it. I had been planning on going to Apple for the Belkin. Do they still offer a proficient warranty? I had i on my SE merely it never got replaced when my phone did due to another consequence. My SO has a Zagg and it's saved his screen plus they have a good warranty - but at least twice the price.

I was at Apple tree Carnegie Library in Washington, D.C. on Friday, September 24. Here'south how I understand that it works:
• Stores sell Belkin screen protectors in customer-facing boxes on the shelf. These have self-applicator kits.
• Stores also take a special stock of Belkin screen protectors in the back that are compatible with the Belkin screen protector applicator machine. These screen protectors are not in customer facing boxes, don't accept self-applicator kits enclosed, and can't be checked for stock online. It's only in the back room.
• Apple Carnegie Library told me there's some result with the special screen protectors manufactured for the machine. Apparently they're not sticking, and Apple Corporate has told stores to not sell any of these machine-applicable screen protectors since they just won't stick. They can continue selling the client-facing screen protectors and these tin be self-applied. (Apple Stores can fifty-fifty aid you apply them!)
• They seem unsure of when the motorcar-compatible screen protectors volition be stock-still. I'll keep calling and asking.

Yup! I bought a client-facing Belkin AntiGlare screen protector for iPhone 13 Pro Max and the staff at Apple Georgetown in Washington, D.C., helped me apply it. She did a nifty job!

By the way, I am loving the antiglare screen protector. It's thin, matte, and sleek. The glass 1 is a bit too shiny and thick. I don't desire to experience the ridge of a glass screen protector.

Is there a large difference between the 20$ version and the twoscore$ of the Belkin screen protector?

Yup — the $20 is plastic and matte. It's almost similar to a Paperlike Screen Protector for iPad Pro in its texture. And super sparse too.

Partner installed $40 UltraGlass Belkin screen protector besides. It's thicker and more raised from the display. Glass is certainly more than durable, just I'chiliad using my iPhone with a case and then I'grand less concerned about cracked or shattered screen, and more about scratches. I figured the $twenty matte protector works well for this use, but that'due south my personal stance.

The application pricess is a real hassle , the spigen conversely is a doddle

  • #34

Our Apple store is in a mall and there are several "booths" in the mall doing screen saver installations which is great because I never do them correct

  • #36

I bought both the Spigen and amFilm for my new thirteen Pro Max. I ended up using the amFilm since it covers up the notch. Absolutely no bug with installation and it is perfect with the tray installation. It cost 12 bucks on Amazon for a 2 pack before discount. I was able to get the ii pack for half-dozen bucks. I am returning the Spigen. Face ID and forepart camera works perfectly fine.

Does this brand accept a similar tray to spigen? I'd similar everything protected if possible.

Since apple was not able to install i for me I did go with the spigen ez fit and applied it to the phone straight out of the box before even turning it on. It worked well. At that place is a tiny spec of dust up in the corner that I'll just have to bargain with. Would recommend though.

Want to give a tip to anybody.

ive never run a tempered glass screen protector on a phone before (but I did install one on my nintendo switch).

someone suggested - when you are a perfectionist buy more than ane kit.

I did two 13 pros today - super cleaned tiny bath - super hot shower humid. Of the ii ESR packs I bought (6 protectors total) I have 6 attempts to get it correct. One took 3 tries (and the third I redid considering when I lifted the glass to get an air bubble out my nail lightly impacted the corner agglutinative).

The second phone I got it solid on the second try.

I decided to use the concluding protector on the showtime phone - had to tussle with it and ended up with a 99.seven% perfect run except for the tiniest, smallest dust particle trapped (just you really accept to look for it - no bubble or raising effectually it).

Point is - order two packs - id say give yourself at least 4 chances. The ESR packs are $10 for three tries - totally worth it and you get the notch covered.

id also say wear a face up mask - make certain your Air-conditioning is off (no air blowing effectually).

I bought the $10 3 pack ESR tempered glass ones from Amazon. It comes with the plastic installation guide which makes it center perfectly. I'chiliad super happy with the alignment, no bubbles, feel of the edges, and experience using the screen. Only another pick…

(I actually desire a really to get the Shellrus sapphire protector, but $65 is just not worth it to me)

Agreed. I was actually surprised how practiced this screen protector is. Can't even tell there'southward a screen protector on my iPhone.

Hi all, I just spoke with the folks at my local Apple Store (in Washington, D.C.) and the replacement Belkin screen protectors that can be motorcar-applied with their official Belkin applicator have arrived to their Apple Store. So if you desire a screen protector professionally installed past Apple, the motorcar is here! (Though I'd propose calling your local Apple Store first to confirm…)

If y'all're new to this: don't buy the Belkin screen protector on the online Apple Store website, then look to bring that in to be machine-applied. That's not uniform with the machine. Just go to the Apple Store and so buy their special screen protector in stock.
